Was that a leap from building a labyrinth … or even walking it?
“Well, it all comes together. When I get to the centre of the labyrinth I find it very grounding, balancing and strengthening. That’s just what children in class need too, to be able to choose what behaviour they would like to see as a group”
I pointed out that that particular part of the programme was headed “Groundings” and earlier, Sue had told me that part of the support she gained from walking the labyrinth, was that she left feeling grounded.
Wouldn’t you say that this has a special feeling about it – something of the wisdom of ages passing on to to-day’s children?
Why can’t we all have a labyrinth in our garden or down the road?
